The only thing you need to do is read the bible and follow what you learn. You don't have to follow a church or nothing else, for he says to put nothing between you and him. As you read, the answers you seek will come out and you will easily see what is proper to watch and what is a lie.

The more I study and read, this is the truth I find.

Ok, christianity means to live according to the principles of Jesus Christ. It may seem a lot trickier that it should be at first. Some pastors, ministers, etc seem to complicate this matter even further... but the truth is, all you have to do is follow the way Christ lived. Make friends, cry, laugh, love, but most importantly, enjoy life! Talk to God as you would talk to your best friend and listen to that inner voice that knows what is good and what is evil. Do you feel bad watching certain shows or playing certain games? Do you feel that what youre watching is helping you become a better person/ christian? The desicions are yours!

True Christians would devote their lives to helping other people, give up their worldly possessions and give their money to those fellow Christians in need, keeping only enough money for themselves to get by. True Christians would preach the Word every day. There would be no time for TV. Any leisure time would be spent studying the Bible and for resting. See, for example, the lifestyles of the Amish. A true Christian would do the Lord's work 100% of the time. Final Fantasy is the devil's work. Good luck with that.

Being a Christian is being " Christ Like"...I dont think there is one answer that will fit this question. You do what you feel in your heart is right..I dont know of a single person that has not called themselves a christian and not watched soap operas, horror movies,Played games, or curse for that matter. I am a Christian, and all i have to say is that just because i made a decision in my life, does not make me sinless...just a sinner forgiven. I still do things like watch soap operas, smoke, etc. Is it ok?...not sure...but i dont feel guilty doing it..Hope this helps.

Yes you would live a normal life day to day.
Watch what you know you are allowed to watch and nothing bad like porn, sex, drugs....ext, you will know if you are allowed to or not, and if you aren't something inside will tell you not to. Yes you can watch soap operas as long as they aren't real bad or against God.
You can play games like that just don't get to much into it like you want to do what they are doing (killing and stuff) in real life cause that would be bad and scary movies aren't bad either unless you don't try to do what the people are doing.

I am a Christian also and that is what I think about your questions, just go by what God tells you are don't go against him or try to be someone your not. God Bless!

Don't sweat the small stuff, because I REALLY don't think your God cares about what you watch on television. Try to be a good person in general. Help the poor and try to do some community service with charities and such. Just be nice and polite, but don't let people manipulate you.

You are making it harder than it truly is. If you feel watching tv is a sin then don't do it. I will admit there were times when I watched General Hospital and thought oh my goodness all this bed hopping is something that I really do not want to see. So I did not watch it. We are all sinners, the only one with out sin was Jesus. Just live like you would if Jesus was sitting right there with you (He is!) and remember, Jesus lived here on the earth and was tempted by many things He understands our weakness and forgives us! Keep on believing and trying!

The important thing is to stay in the Word of God. Even if you spend only a few minutes a day it will be valuable to you. That is where God meets with us to teach how to live. I have found that things I really used to like to watch like the "Soaps" or some movies I no longer enjoy. The Spirit of God has made them distasteful to me. So its not a loss I just don't enjoy these things like I once did. Ask the Holy Spirit to direct your steps and He will. God Bless

God tells us that we are suppose to live each day as Christ would. You need to pray and start seeking God's will. I use to watch soap operas all the time until God convicted me. That is just trash. I don't need to be putting things in my head or body that is going to harm me or my witness for Jesus Christ. You body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who lives with in you if you are a born again Christian. Just take things one step at a time. Read your bible and pray. You will then have the strength and knowledge to live as Christ wants you to live.

First, you do not have to go to church to worship. God is everywhere, in everything that we see. You can feel free to worship as an individual in private reflection if you prefer not to be a part of a mass religious meeting such as church. God will love you no matter how you worship in His name.

Live your life the best that you can. Always strive to improve yourself. Be kind and considerate to others, especially those less fortunate. Let love and humor be your guide. Strive not to let hatred into your heart.
