My son was the same way. He got a lot of nutrients from the applesauce (I found mixing in mashed banana worked well too), but when I started to worry I just supplemented his diet with infant vitamins. It made his stood very hard and he didn't like the taste, so I wouldn't recommend giving him a full dose. You can also check with your doctor and see about different types of vitamins, we used fish oil and it worked well, stinky but well. Really though if he's eating enough of the other foods his diet shouldn't be in any danger. We get all types of vitamins from different foods.

try that pedisure................i used that for my son when he was under weight from being sick.........and kids love the taste.
and it has plenty of vitamins and nutrients in it.
