are we close to transplanting the thyroid gland?

i wonder if you even can!

I`m hypothyroid, and I would not want to have a thyroid transplant. I think taking one small pill a day is easier than taking a bunch of anti rejection drugs and on top of that having the surgery.

There is no need to transplant a thyroid gland since one can live without it and a transplant would bring with it all the complications of transplant rejection.
