There’s this girl who I talked to and we don’t talk about religion or spiritual aspects since I learned my lesson from my last relationship. Every time I talk about religion or spiritualism the girl end up getting angry at me. Why are people offended about their spiritual well-being?

That is the very FIRST thing I discuss when I enter a new relationship. I am a born-again, Conservative Christian, and I cannot and will not be with someone who does not share my faith. It's that important to me.

Think about what's going on now in the media. Right now there are so many people questioning the Bible. What it comes down to is people dont want to hear anything negative about their religion. Its just something that makes people mad and sometimes violent. Its just like people are calling all Muslims terrorist just because of what one man did. All the followers of Islam are being stereotyped which is wrong. The media makes loads of money off of questioning the bible. The history channel makes a lot of money with the stuff they show about the bible and Jesus. People are offended because they dont want their religion to be questioned by what others are saying or the media puts out there.

People are often picky about religion maybe because they are not happy and really don't like life and thinks it sucks, maybe the girl had a bad experience and resents it because of that. Maybe they don't believe something about their religion, and it makes them angry because they don't understand it. It is not your fault and you are doing great not saing anything unless they bring it up, there is not much you can do about it, just do the best you can and hope for the best. Maybe find someone that has a religion they don't mind talking about or someone who is spiritual. You never know until you try.

It's a very personal question - and it depends how you talk to them about it.

I think it's important in a relationship to share the same spiritual beliefs (for your future together)

So if I were you, I'd talk about it from the get-go, before you have time to get attached, if you're really that worried about a breakup because of this.

No thinking guy or woman, nor an informed one accepts bible memories as fact. basically people who've "faith" and have grew to become their lives to jesus have self assurance such stuff. Historians, scholars, and the recommended already be responsive to that we are all $14.00 properly worth of chemical compounds, and get approximately eighty years of relaxing with it. we've not any reminiscence in the previous and there is not any reminiscence while we die. death is very final, and absolute. there is not any longer something previous death. somewhat frankly, it rather is definitely comforting to maximum clever people -- to have self assurance that one will burn constantly, or basically front room around on a cloud and locate that marvelous is insanity. yet guy, historical besides as modern-day, has consistently feared death. And as quickly as we loose somebody we like, we can slightly settle for that we are going to on no account see them back. Out of this worry replaced into invented faith -- in all hazard the 1st to adventure it replaced into Homo erectus. for valuable Neatherthals place some reverence upon death. So , no, once you're ineffective, you're dirt is extremely perfect......

Sometimes people get offended, but that is only because they are not open minded about religion. Sometimes people have to learn to be tolerant about other people´s beliefs.

Because it's something really personal to people. It's as if I had just met you and started asking about your past relationships, sex life, bad relationship with your parents, etc. It's one of those controversial topics that people just don't want to talk about.
