Okay, I'm having a family birthday party for my 2-yr-old. Basically, it's a party for her but full of adults...she'll be the only kid...so I wanted to so a game with them...
Her party theme is Elmo...
I need any ideas you can give me as to a game for the adults that is fun and has to do with Elmo and can include my 2-yr-old...well, at least entertain her...
Thanks!

I also need any ideas for crafts for their goody bags...so far, I've printed out a pic of my daughter and plan to make it into a magnet...

Why is she the only child in attendance?

I'd have to say if I went to a kids party & was expected to play a game to amuse the birthday child, I'd be irritated. I can't think of a game involving Elmo that would be remotely fun to an adult that would also amuse (or be appropriate) a 2 year old.

Maybe you could have an Elmo scavenger hunt? Like Elmo says look on top of where you keep the milk.(fridge) and then give clues until the end and have an elmo related prize like a box of goldfish (Dorothy) or something. Also you can print Sesame Street coloring pages off of the internet and have a coloring contest for the adults!

You could play "which of these things do not belong", and really have a good time with that. Or pin the nose on Elmo, seeing adults blind-folded and trying to pin an orange nose on a furry red monster would probably be very entertaining. :)

i feel for you deeply! keeping a 2-yr old "entertained" is a job in itself! try musical chairs with sesamestreet music,or where is elmo hide and go-seek, where different guests take turn hiding with elmo and let your daughter and other guests hunt them. this should keep her occupied for at least fifteen minutes! good-luck, signed pattycake
