This is a plce ofr questions. Not a gathering place. They have special groups for that. Why not start your own yahoo group about religion. Then a lot of same mindd people will join and you'll have fun.
Believes are always going to be questioned. The reason being is that they are believf. Little or no proof when it comes to belief. Is not the same telling you that the iron is hot but not allowing you to touch it. Than to say the iron is hot I would not touch it but is up to you. Some people need to touch the hot ironto see if its really hot or not. So, yes, there will always be questions and doubts. But, if you are so sure that your faith is right then why worry. I mean, if its right there is no way they could prove you wrong right? right?

I feel that people have the right to challenge what they dont believe in. What urks me is when they do so in a hurt-full manner. Seems like many times people, both believers and non, take to the extreme sometimes when peoples beliefs dont coincide with their own. Would I rather only share this board with people of the same beliefs i have...no, i would not. I feel a good debate is beneficial towards increasing knowledge.

A persons beliefs are only opinions. Not facts. Everyone is entitles to have their own opinions and beliefs. People should be basing their answers on facts on here instead of opinions though.
Just because I know my beliefs are right - I dont expect everyone to see things the same way I do. LOL
People cramming their religion down my throat on here makes me furious!

Number one how can anyone challenge your beliefs. Number two this is America where we have freedom of religion not to mention the freedom of speech. Would you rather live where you have no choice in your beliefs or where you can have your beliefs and others can have theirs an be able to express them in a public forum. God Bless America where you can do this. Quit whining about others and enjoy your freedom of belief.

How are your beliefs challanged on here? You don't have to answer any questions on religion.
NO I don't expect this to be a place for people who believe what I do. This isn't a religious site. If you want that then find a christian site and stay off here! This is a place for EVERYONE!!!

I come here to find the people challenging the things I believe. After that it's like that scene in the Matrix where Neo and Trinity go into the bank.

God no. Where's the fun in that? Part of the reason I come here is to have my beliefs challenged and to challenge those of others (and enjoy the WSIDR). Beliefs that can't be challenged aren't really worth having.

The scriptures say's " go ye into the world and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ unto ALL the world". We are commanded to be at the ready for anyone and at any time. But to do so in love that we may seen as having the Love of Christ in us.
So, therefore, yes we should be tested and we should be ready to testify on behalf of the gospel, but if you read the scriptures and know them well, The bible will defend itself easily.
So be comforted in knowing that The Lord is with us everywhere we go and that HIS angels are in charge over us to guide us and to minister to us.
So do not be afraid.!
