probably not.
Cardio workouts raise your heart rate and keep it high; unless you can do a crapload of pushups, your heartbeat will rise, but then fall again.

It depends. A cardio workout typically means that you are working your heart, meaning you increase your heartbeat. Different things may constitute a good cardio workout for different people. For example, my heart rate may go up when I am running on a treadmill, or it may go up just walking quickly down the street, or it may go up when I am working in a garden. I would say that pushups much more of a weight-bearing exercise to build muscle than to increase your heart efficiency. But you could get to doing pushups until you are actually working your heart too! P.S. Pushups make a guys chest really nice and defined! Do as many as you can! It certainly catches my eye when a guy has really nice shoulders and chest! Cheers!

Not really, you are pretty much doing the same think as if your were on the bench press.. It works your chest and triceps.. Go jogging, get on the treadmill..

I had those cardio work outs so I basically play basketball for about 2 hours 3 times a week, gets you all the cardio you need

No I don't think so... it's more like strength training because you're more likely to tone your arms and part of your chest although you may lose a few calories while doing this... you gain more by walking/running, anything where it involves working to improve the heart and circulation, and some sweat.
