as long as you work out and eat ok you are fine. Everyone has a different body type. No one really looks like the girls in the magazines, and those who do are starving and eat Marlboros for meals.

First, you need to work on your self esteem, you need to feel good about yourself as a person no matter what weight you are. Also I am in a similar boat as you, but I am 26. 160 is always my, okay time to lose some weight number. I try to stay closer to 140, but when the holidays come around, overeating is a big tempation. I usually wind up floating around the 150 mark most of the time, bouncing between the mid 140's to mid 150's, and then once in a while a bit closer to 160. Now I am recommiting myself to excercise so I can get my weight back under control. However for me, it is more in the foods I eat then working out. If I really "behave" when it comes to food, that is where 80% of my weight loss comes from. The excercise just helps my tighten up and lose some of the flabbyness.

Don't know if I helped you at all, but what you want to do is simple "learn" how to eat for the weight you want, and never stop eating that way. It's not a light switch, once you go off that path, the pounds come back.

Hey, I'm 34, the same height & the same weight. I feel a little chubby myself. I found that drinking water instead of soda makes me lose a bunch of that weight! BTW, at 14, just keep exercising & don't eat many sweets or fried foods. Drink a lot of water & see where that gets you! Don't worry about dieting! Just eat better. Eat 3 times a day & make sure you're getting lots of veggies & less bread, pasta & potatoes.

You can lose weight but not that much. Get down to at least 130 lbs.
A good weight for you is 115 to 140 lbs.

You're not fat. You could lose about 38 pounds. Your ideal weight is 122 pounds.

No way - you sound healthy and strong. Just stay active and eat healthy food and tell yourself many times a day that you are great as you are.
