Where I work their this woman who I don't know- but she's beautiful and she just looks at me a little longer than usual. most recently she cracked a smile. I'm ready to say something but you know company policy in all. what should I do.. nothing stupid please... I'm an adult... no kid replies...

You do have to be careful with regards to company policies. My option is "Honesty is the best policy". Don't play around the issue and try to get 'hints' because that's where you start to get yourself into trouble. Either ask her up front about her intentions, or just ignore it and see if she makes a move.

There are consequences for the truth policy though, that you must be willing to accept. There's always the instant reaction of "what the f*@!?" Then there might be some awkwardness if those were not her intentions. Just be careful. Feel out the situation a bit longer before deciding on a plan of action. Good luck.

Although there may be a "policy" There is no rule that i know of that prevents you from saying hi. She has already taken the first step by sending signals... Catch her before or after work. There are other ways you can find to talk to her...Use your imagination.. As you said you are an adult... Go to her like one.. Good luck and take care.
