Wanted soda, so I said,

"Do you want Coca-Cola?"

and they said, "What's that?!"

And I said, "Uh, Coke?"

And they said yeah!

Geesh! It's not like I'm Grandma, I'm in my 30s!

Try living in the south and calling it a pop. "Ya want a pop?" My friends have wondered if I was going to hit them!

LOL Too funny...But ...Do not feel old even the commercials for "Coca Cola" NOW say Coke!

Perhaps your nephews are misunderstanding what Coca-Cola was, and what it is now. Back in the time when Coca-Cola was created, they used cocaine in the drink, to cause a desire for it, but now it's simply caffine. If I understand your question right, perhaps they think it is okay for them to have cocaine? I am not sure if your nephews understand when you said, Coke, that they knew what you meant. I hope to heck they did!

it is because you used the proper name coca cola but everybody know it as coke

I'm 30 and I call it coke, I probably would have looked at you funny too...not many people call it coca-cola.

i think they might have just never heard of it before, but that is weird im 11 and ive heard of coco-cola before where do you live becasue i might know them i have 12 year olds in my class so well i live in hingham emial me @ irish711colleen@yahoo.com
