Yes, indirectly. If property tax goes up, the landlord has to raise rent to pay the increase.

Property tax isn't categorically a burden on anyone. It IS one source
of income for local and state governments. Consider it direct or
indirect, renters DO pay the property tax on the property they
are renting as part of the overall billing for habitation.

Some look at taxes as a burden. It is a burden if you are not prepared to pay. On the other hand, taxes are a necessity to help run the city or town you live in.

I doubt it's "Serious". It's a fixed part of cost of renting and a part of the rent you pay.
