Any advice, I have been told in the past numerous times that I was.
Is that bad? What does it mean?
Thanks

Its not bad at all ! It just means that your bone structure is larger than average. I've heard that if you take your thumb and middle finger of your right hand and place them around your left wrist, you can tell what kind of bone structure you have: if your fingers overlap, you have small bones, if they touch, average, and if they do not touch at all, large bones ! There is nothing wrong with being "big boned". ;)

It means your skeletal frame weighs more than other people your height who are small or medium boned. You can find out your frame size by measuring your wrist or elbow breadth. There isn't much differnece in size between a small frame and a large frame, perhaps only 1/2 an inch but it can mean that you will weigh more.

You can check your frame size at the site below. HTH : )

only an X-Ray can determine that. even if it is true the size of the bones has no bearing on body composition, that is determined by the diet and daily level of activity

big boned means you're heavier than most but still within the healthy ranges.

easy... with your middle finger and your thumb. wrap them around your wraist. IF they touch easily you have small bones... etc.
It is not bad at all. It just means that you can carry more weight then others.
