i talk to this guy a lot and whenever he flirts with me or gives me a compliment i end up just saying thank you or you too. is there anything better to say? thanks for all your help!

I have this problem, too! It's annoying b/c it's flattering but (especially if you really like the person) you feel so drawn in by them its difficult to think up something clever in a moment's notice.
Try reciprocation: compliment him back...OR
Tease him and tell him, "of course I'm pretty, beautiful, etc" as in a matter-of-factly manner. Give him a smile and a wink ;)

If you like him ask him out for a few drinks or dinner. When he compliments you say you done it for him.

ask him what he's doing this weekend....try to make it a conversation instead of you just accepting compliments all the time

be cute about it, like "aw thanks!"or "ur so sweet!" but dont say u too, just flirt with him back, be comfortable and cute, and confident!
