Dogs are simple, food, eliminate and heirarchy.
They do feel, happy, depressed, stressed, anxiety etc.. in simple terms but do not think like humans.

Anthromorpothizing is when people attribute human characteristics to thier dogs and makes up for 100% of dog training problems.

I think the answers for this question are goin to be interesting....

Sort of. Dogs have don't have feelings per say, but they do have instincts which cause them to react to their environment in a certain way. For example, dogs don't feel "jealousy", but when they see another dog chewing on a bone, they will often try to take it just because their brain is programmed to tell the dog to eat bones. Similarly, dogs wag their tails when they see their owner because they instinctively need to be part of a pack.

It's really up to interpretation, but dogs so not think the same way we do, so they really don't have the same feelings.

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to have feelings and dogs are living beings from the same planet as humans so it would be strange if they acted like they have feelings without actually having them.

Dogs have feelings somewhat like humans. They can feel happy, sad, mad, anxiety, nervousness and they can tell when they're bad. The dog's brain though is not as complex as the human brain so they don't feel them so severly or as complexly as humans do. Dogs do have emotions and feelings like people do though and are very smart.

Yes they do. I have to JRT's and when I come home they are so happy, and when I leave they get real sad. Also if i'm having a bad day and they can feel my tension they will give me lots of love. I have been crying before and my dogs will also sit and cry. It's kinda cool to know that your dog knows your mood.

Dogs have their own moods, so they have feelings. I don't think you can hurt a dog's feelings like you can hurt a person's feelings, but dogs definitely have their good and bad days.

They also remember which people they like and dislike, but they submit to their owners as "leaders of the pack".
