I know a guy that often uses this line...and that's exactly what it is...just a line. She is telling you that she doesn't love you as a woman loves a man. It's a bitter pill, but swallow it quickly and get the heck away from her. After a period of seperation, you may be able to salvage a friendship...but she's made it clear that romance is not in the long term picture. Move out and move on. Good Luck

Girls always use this line to mean, "we're just friends." It's their polite way to tell you that they are no longer in love with you without hurting you. And it's probably true. I bet she loves to be hanging out with you, but she is not interested in you as a partner.
My advice is end the relationship and move on to being just friends if you can handle that. If not, then end the relationship altogether, though beware that this might cause her to cling if she really doesn't want to lose you as a friend.

it probably means that she really does love you and care abt you and wants to continue being close friends, but that she simply isn't "in" love. she doesn't want more than to be a good friend, and even if she does want, just doesn't feel that you're it.
don't be mad at her, you can't blame a person for not feeling a certain way. if it's too hard for you to accept the fact, then maybe it would be best for you both to give it a short break. but explain it to her so she won't get all confused and hurt. she is probably afraid of what your reaction will be and doesn't want to lose you over it. good luck.

My definition would be that shes very fond of you but she doesn't love you to the point to where your on her mind all the time and shes not thinking about a lifetime committment yet .In other words, don't go making any plans for you and her to get married or engaged. She may never fall in love with you but she definitely
enjoys your company so take it nice and slow for now if you ever want it to develop into something stronger.

I have to admit that I've been guilty of saying that to someone as well. She means that she cares deeply for you and loves you as a friend, but she doesn't have intimate feelings for you in your relationship. It's not something you can change, the chemistry just isn't there for her.

It means the same thing it does when a man say's it to a woman....she's saying that she cares but doesnt feel THAT way about you. I don't know what led up to this but I will say that sometimes these things work themselves out and sometimes they don't...you need to decide if you are able to wait for her to get over it or if it's time to move on. lotsa luck to you

She says she loves you because she doesn't want to hurt you by saying she just likes you a lot but she doesn't love you enough to commit to a life-long relationship or marriage. Move on.

She loves you as a person, but she's not in love with you in a sense that she longs to be with you. Be aware that this isn't a good thing when in a relationship when you want it to go to the next level.
