I told this one girl how I felt and she told me that she didn’t feel the same way. I thought we were hitting it off pretty well… I mean we laughed together on the phone, have great conversations, and we even made a way to see each other even though it was one time. I don’t get it? Why make it seem like you “actually like someone” when you just want them as friends?

I'm in your same shoes except I'm the girl and the guy doesn't understand that I don't want a relationship right now.....There could be many reasons why she doesn't want to date you. She could've just ended a long relationship and feels it's unfair for whoever she dates that he feel distant because of her and her past...She could just had a bad experience with a guy and isn't quite ready to up and move on like you want her to. There could be many reasons. Just be happy she's your friend and who knows what tomorrow could bring. She could fall in love with you in 4 months if not sooner so be happy she's still in your life and hasn't left you high and dry.

Stop being her friend and stop doing any kind gestures or favours for her. She'll just take advantage of you.
The last thing you want to be is one of the gals. You need male friends and females as lovers. A brother and a sister can be just friends. But,not non-related men and women. Unless one is truly gay. You must stop being her friend ASAP. If you think you feel like **** now. Wait unit she gets a boyfriend. Do you really want to waste your time persuing her.Even though she's always going to be a pain in the *** like this to you ?

Possibly, she wasn't sure how she felt about you until you actually spent time together. Be grateful that she was honest with you and move on.
