Don't let him away with it, people can be friends after a break up but to go out for a few drinks and dinner when you are hard at work isn't on. It will lead to more than that and you are going to be the one that will get hurt. Tell him you don't want his ex in your relationship it is you and you only if he loves you he should except your wishes

Well you already told him FU so why are you worried about him. I would think you have already made it clear he was not moving in with you. Or did you two make up after all that?
No, it sounds a bit like he is keeping one of you around in case the other doesn't work out.
I had, notice HAD, an ex who pulled the same crap. I didn't put up with it for long.

Wow..i wish i had a gf like u...it seemed like ur reallie understanding towards ur guy..but unfortunatly i think hes takin you for granted..it becomes a problem when you stay friends with ur exes..when your gf is uncomfortable with it..im surprised you even let him hang out with her..letting him have dinner and stuff..if i were you i would just leave him..cuz ur bf..doesn't no when to quit..i think hes pushin it a lil bit too far with the whole stayin over thing...u did a great job handlin the situation...and the "nice FU letter.." that was priceless.....

I say its ok! Iam still friends with my ex and he has moved on and i just got married 2yrs ago, if you have a feeling that he still has feelings for her and the same for her than most likely you are right! My ex and i used to hang out when i was single and he had a fiance and yes it was kinda weird but i did not look at him in a romantic way and i asured his fiance that i had moved on but that i valued our friendship! and so far so good we all are best of friends!
