Two years ago (age 16) I weighed 135 pounds more or less. I'm 18 now and I weigh 180 pounds!!!! I do eat alot of breads and I love sweets so I think that's why I am so fat now. I really want to lose at least 35 pounds. Is that healthy? Will cutting out carbs and sugar help? By the way my height is 5ft. 10 in. if that matters.

It will, but it is better to just cut down on these things. You shouldnt "diet" because that suggests that you will go back to your old habits at some point and gain all the weight back. Create a sensible eating and excersize plan that you can stick to for life! That means no extremely drastic changes as that will make it harder. Change a little at a time and before you know it you will think overly sweet things are gross.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

I did it and went from 195 to 165. It took a few months. I am eating pretty normal now but less food (my appetite is no longer crazy) and haven't gained any weight. Be sure to read labels and go by carbs. Keep them under 20 per day. It works.

Yes, but when you resume a normal diet yo will gain more weight faster because your body needs carbs and by going low carb, you starve your body of it's nutrients and energy and when you actually eat some carbs your body will try to store them as fat.

Just eat sensibly and exercise regularly. Drink plenty of water as this will curb your false hunger and hydrate your body. Get plenty of rest.

It helped my husband lose 60 and keep off about 40 for the last six years. You should exercise along with any diet, though.
