Christians should definently judge the spirits by the word of God to make sure what a person teaches is proper and correct sound doctrine,
Christians should also judge within the church we have this ability for the bible says we will even jusdge angles one day
Christians should not judge a person outside the church for who are we too juudge someone outside of the church of Christ

with all this in mind be carefull on what and how you are using the word judge do not judge as the people of this world judge others but judge with a Godly judgment lead by the Holy Spirit and if your not sure about a certain situation ask for guidence by someone who may be able to help you

don't confuse discerning with judging. God gives discernment as a gift of the Spirit... it helps make decisions.... judging is standing and saying 'i condemn you' for what you are doing... and personally, i am not in the position to condemn anyone

You have asked the very question which prevents my own attendance at any church. As a christian I have checked out many denominations, and the one thing they seem to have universally in common is the hypocritical stance that though "Judgement is mine sayeth the lord..." each denomination not only has their individual pet peeves for which they feel they can circumvent this biblical stricture, but invariably they have there own religious scapegoat ( in the form of another christian sect ) which they use to illustrate as personification of people who have gotten the message all wrong. In closing let me ask you a question which potentially might lead you to your answer. With the exception of the money changers in the temple, who did Jesus ever judge?

Matthew 7

1 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?

i strongly believe in this verse from the bible. because no man should judge another because no man is perfect.

Yes and yes. If you are a member of the Body of Christ, you do judge. You judge the sin. Jesus, the head of the Body, judges the sinner. He may ask for input like he says the Queen of the South will stand in judgment on such and such...

Christians aren't supposed to judge anybody. They are supposed to be worried about their own doings and faults and not on everybody else's shortcomings and whatever else.

I try not to judge others. I try to be open-minded and consider their beliefs. I don't judge others, and I'm very glad that I don't have that job.

they do. and if they actually followed the word of the bible, their lives would be come so inconvenient, they would self-destruct.

they always forget things like "before you point out the speck in my eye, take the log from you own..." etc.
