This is not a jab at muslims, but rather at the extremist muslims who believe they will be rewarded with 72 virgins if they blow up non-muslims. Could it be that these 72 virgins are actually llamas who have not yet "fooled around"? Will they be "surprised" when their 72 virgins aren't what they think? Yikes!

Actually that has been misquoted. It is really 72 "Virgils". Any so-called martyr is rewarded with unlimited trysts with 72 old Jewish guys named Virgil.

This isn't as important as everyone seems to think. It was just a metaphor for heaven and how you can get whatever you want. I didn't even know about this hadith before I heard it from American media. The extremists who are blowing up non-muslims who have done nothing to them will be surprised but not because of the missing virgins. Nowhere in the Quran does it say you can kill an innocent. Murder is one of the biggest sins in islam.

First off, thank you for differentiating between extremist Muslims and the rest of us.
The 72 virgins is a myth purported by the political leaders of the Middle Eastern countries, who's sole goal is to gain more power. These people have placed physical wants and needs above their love and worship of Allah, and are therefore guilty of idolatry, the one unforgivable sin in Islam. Their destiny will be to suffer for eternity in the lowest pits of Hell.

Actually, the 72 virgins part was studied in depth by a German scholar. He concluded that the word may mean raisins. Actually, they won't go to heaven in the first place. Allah condemns killing other people. They will be judged appropriately and I won't be surprised at all when they go to hell for the crimes they committed on earth.

Even the Islamists know this is false, it's just a way to recruit the lemmings who will act on it. They beat and torture their women daily, and force them to cover themselves completely in public, but they would gladly blow themselves up to get to 72 virgins? Right, the way they treat their women, perhaps they're waiting for 72 virgin sheep.

Did you do your research and look to see if this is actually in the Quran before asking? I'm serious, do a Quran search. Nowhere does it say a man is going to get any amount of virgins for killing innocent people.

72 virgins is just a myth which is linked to islam wrongly........there is no such gift or actualy a punishment with 72 virgins mentioned anywhere........thats totally wrong......and those extremist are doing all that because of their ignorance and not following any teachings of islam actualy !
