I don't know if it helps, but I'm 5' 7", and about 152 lbs. prior 10 minutes ago, haha. I'm deciently active [hyper, and I always walk the long way around school..also a jv cheerleader, but it's off season], and apparently high school aged. I have a decent amount of muscle mass, and a slow metabolism [both of my parents and most of my family is overweight]. Thank you so much! :]

it really depends on how much you have been eating over what you have been burning. 3500 calories over what your body has burning will make you gain a pound

it takes of period of time with a caloric excess before noticeable fat gain may occur so it's hard to say.

since you are aware of your family history and weight problems I would try to keep your level of daily activity higher in the off season. exercise increases insulin sensitivity and reduces the potential for fat storage.
