Brush and floss and rinse with antiseptic mouthwash after meals.

Get one of those ultrasonic toothbrushes (like Phillips Sonic care) to really get the junk out from between teeth.

regular visits to the dentist
no sugary snacks or soda
brush and floss after every meal

this will help prevent tooth decay and delay the onset of any other factors...
