I have no doubt they will next insist that a Theory of Intelligent falling be substituted for the Theory of Gravity in public schools...
Re: Bill Mack (below): actually, the last thing I would suppose from string theory would be that the vibrations related to the vocal chords on a superfriend.

It's mainly due to the colloquial use of the word "theory"... when an average joe says "I have a theory", it usually means "I have an idea/a guess/my own explanation as to what's going on here."
It's the same thing when Christians say that Christianity isn't a religion because a religion is "something you do, like when you religiously brush your teeth".
It's redefining words to suit a particular agenda, something that Creationists and IDers are notorious for.

True
Evolution occurs when ever parents have a child who is not exactly the same as the parents.
Even macro evolution to create new species has been proven. The only points to argue is "How did it all start" and "Is man included in the system"

Gravity is just a theory too. We actually have a better handle on how evolution really works.

Here is another theory to consider. Science has recently made a stride towards proving creationism. Quantum physics has come up with the "String Theory". It postulates that all matter, everything that exists, consists of "strings" of vibrating energy. That the arrangement of these strings produces the various forms and types of all matter. The creation account describes God as "speaking" everything into existence. Sound being a vibrating energy... what conclusion would you derive?

Haha, intelligent falling... thats a good one!
Its not that they can't, its that they wont... It would be like taking away a crippled mans crutch, except that he isn't crippled, he just thinks he is....
