when ever something happens and i don't want to be so rude to just say it.....i'll find a way to say to someone else when i know the person i want to hear is lissening. "I hate when people do this it's so damn rude" or something along those lines. it may not stop the situation in dealing with but it makes me feel better to give that little jab later

If she is talking so loudly that it is disturbing you in your office, then you may have to take it to someone in a higher position. Everyone should be able to work in peace.

Go in there when someone is there with her talking and start talking about something totally different and go sit back down when they leave.

tell her -excuse me I am trying to work could you step outside until you both are done with your conversation!
If she works with you and is higher up maybe just take a break and go to the restroom or outside to get some air and hopefully when you return the chat-monster will be gone!

Get up and go to the bathroom. Maybe to the kitchen or vending machine. Go outside for a smoke break -- even if you don't smoke.

Ask your boss to get involved- no matter what you do, after this, get your boss into conversation.
Approuch and ask- "would you mind keeping your voice down. Thank you."

go drink some water calm yourself down. and then politely ask her if she could tone it down a notch, she is carrying on a coversation and you feel guilty because she is so loud that you can hear everything that she is saying

Go ask them gently if they could talk in a lower voice, it is disturbing your ability to concentrate.

Ask them if they can keep it down...and say please.
If that doesn't work start coughing and moving things around on your desk LOUDLY.
