Soak in a hot bath, hot tub or a hot shower. Alternate between a heating pad & cold compresses - ice in a ziploc & covered by a towel. Take some ibuprophen.
If you don't have a heating pad or a hot water bottle, try this: Get some dry beans & put them in a old sock - no holes & tie or sew up the end. Put this in the microwave for 2 mins. & then put on the sore area. Simple & cheap.

If I were you, I would probably use an ice pack and rest and relax and then next time before you play, maybe take extra time to stretch your arms and shoulders.

Just take it easy for a few days, and try not to do anything strenuous with that part of your body if you can possibly help it.
