it depends on if u coated the pan with non stick. if you did just tip the pan on its flipside and give it a little LIGHT shake and it should come off. but wait till its cooled. if you didnt spray it wait until its cooled and try to put a spatula underneath it.

As some other folks noted, preparation is everything, even with nonstick pans. Make sure you've greased and floured the pan, or sprayed it very well with nonstick cooking spray.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, away from heat, preferably on a wire rack. Run a butter knife all the way around the cake to loosen it from the sides.
Then, place the cooling rack on top of the cake and flip the whole thing over. Place on a level surface and with that butter knife, tap the bottom of the cake pan, gently, several times. This seems to help loosen the layer. Remove the pan carefully, and if it seems like the layer still wants to stick, try to get a spatula in to help it along.

If you are having trouble removing the cake from the pan, it means that you did not grease the pan enough before pouring in the batter. Next time, make sure to butter or oil the pan enough, and your cake will slide right out. If you are baking a cake, you can afford to skimp on the butter, so grease that pan!

Also, make sure to remove the cake while it is still warm.

If the cake breaks, don't despair. You can eat this broken cake with ice cream or make it into bread pudding. And I am certain your family will forget it completely if the taste is good :)

the main element is for the cake to no longer stick to the pan. confirm you butter the pans generously...confirm you get it interior the perimeters. Then sprinkle flour interior the pans & shake it around till the flour thoroughly covers the butter. Throw the surplus flour away. After your muffins are performed, set them interior the pans on cooling racks. Set the timer for 10 minutes. while the timer is going off, take between the muffins & placed a plate on real of it & mutually as holding the two the pan & the plate, turn it over. gently carry the pan & the cake will fall out onto the plate. Then placed the cooling rack on the real of the cake & holding the two the plate & the cooling rack, turn it as quickly as greater. eliminate the plate. The cake will now be stunning-side-up on the cooling rack. Repeat with the different cake. confirm you cool thoroughly in the previous frosting. take excitement in!

before you put the batter in the pan, make sure you grease it. either use pam w/ flour for baking or use vegatable oil and lightly dust with flour. once the cake is done, let cool completely unless in a bundt pan, then cool for 10 minutes and then invert the pan onto a plater and pull the pan off. if the cake sticks, use a knife around the edges of the cake and try again.

The best way to ensure a cake doesn't split or break is to make sure that first you coated the pan well with nonstick spray or grease & flour and secondly to let the cake cool long enough. If the cake is too hot when it is removed, it will split.
