Your parents are forcing you to prepare dessert for them in half an hour? Run away!!!
Anyway, a nice quick dessert: carefully slice and arrange fresh fruit on a platter. This is the simplest, healthiest, and prettiest dessert.
If you have ice cream on hand, you could put a scoop of ice cream on the plates, and arrange sliced fruit around the ice cream (like sliced strawberries, orange wedges, banana slices, etc.)
You could make grilled bananas--very delicious! Take a fresh banana. Cut it into long slices. Heat up a frying pan. Put some butter in the pan. Let it sizzle. Put the banana slices in the frying pan. Let them grill for a little bit. Then carefully remove them, put them on a plate, and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with ice cream.

Strawberry shortcake...take a Sara Lee frozen pound cake and let it thaw. Slice the cake, putting each slice in a bowl. Thaw frozen strawberries, top the pound cake with the strawberries. Put a dollop of Cool Whip on top, or squirt whipped cream from the can. Easy and delicious.
