Believe me; it's more real than you can fathom. Some things really can't be explained in a way that people can really understand them, but yes, there is a dark side of spirituallity and yes, it does involve deamonds and sometimes people are actually posessed. Even Bible-believing Christians can get posessed in some cases. It's very real.

There's no such thing. Demonic possession is a primitive, superstitious explanation for psychological or medical problems, made up when people had no idea of the real cause.

The Vatican has been training up hundreds of exorcists so it must be real in Mr Ratzingers head (aka Pope Benedict), that or he thinks it will be popular with converts in Africa...that's my take on it anyway.
