It would probably have to be a round robin between Briggs, Peter, and Klitchko for who would get a the Ring Title. Valuev truely hasn't beaten talent, his probably 2 most notable wins were over Ruiz and McCline(who went down to a leg injury).

No the ring championship policy doesn't take alphabet titles into consideration. For a Ring champion to be crowned The number one and number two (some exceptions can be made for number 3) ranked fighters must meet.

Right now a ring title could only be recieved for bouts involving W. Klitschko, Sam Peter, or Oleg Maskaev.
Valuev is ranked 4th and Briggs is ranked 5th.
