About dating in general. Why do you always say you want an honest relaationship? When a guy is honest you won't even consider it. Now if the guy has a con going on like hr says stuff to make you think he got money, or was in the military or the CIA he travels a lot but never goes anywhere your all over him.

Dear Ivan S. Dating in general sucks! It is not just the men who suffer the "honesty" issue, but women as well. Rule of thumb, honesty is something that is earned, not given. A man/woman can say they have money, but most women look for the pudding -- the proof is in the pudding! Women tend to give men enough rope to allow them to run with their lies, eventually hanging themselves. You say when "a guy is honest you won't even consider it," it depends on what the situation is -- did she see you with another woman and it really was your mother? You're saying women really don't want an honest guy but perfer the guy who is the liar, well honey, EVERY woman wants the bad seed, it's the same with men, you want the whorish looking girl with the low cut blouse, boobs sticking out and short or tight pants -- exactly why is that -- is it because it's more exciting. Seriously think about your question, and then think about whether you were really honest with her -- just think about it -- may be you're giving off an essence that doesn't make her think you're honest.

I don't no what women your referring to. Most women really do want a decent kind man in their lives. I don't think that a guy could con me, cause I have been there and done that. I don't need someone with tons of money, as long as he has his own income. Some women are desperate to get out of the race, and would crawl all over some creep for cash. In general, most women are smart enough to spot a con, and will steer clear. I no I can, and would!!!

That is not always the case. You asked for an Adult Woman to respond and I shall. Women who are More mature, do not fall prey to words as they did in Younger years. We are wiser and look more for facts and Character in a man than just words. We do like Honesty in a man, but we are also wise enough to know that when you first meet them, they are only gonna let you see the good side of them. Knowing a person takes a long time, and it is always wiser to really get to know a person before making commitments.

Well, if you don't really want a long term relationship that is going somewhere (deep down inside, you feel this way), it wouldn't serve you very well to date an available guy would it? People who are commitment-phobes, who don't really want a healthy long term relationship (most of us), are going to get with other commitment-phobes. That's the way it works. As soon as you work out your issues about being a commitment-phobe, then you'll be attracted to a person who is also not a commitment-phobe.

Oh puhleazzze! Get a grip....what kind of women have you been talking to? Not too bright I'd think. If a cretin tells me he's in the CIA or any of that other garbage he'd be h-i-s-t-o-r-y. Yah, most women want honesty. Find some of them!

Simple we all say we want the nice guy who will treat us like a princess and never be rude or mean in anyways, but well when a "nice" guy enters the picture and tries he almost always entres the "friend" category because as much as they may want to be with us they are being so sweet and nice that it's almost unattractive. As much as we say we don't want pushy guys we all really want to be grabbed and kissed some times

OK let me give it to you straight, from a woman who knows women well when a woman says she wants a honest man she really wants a single man, the overall truth most woman love to be sold dreams and they always buy them, now you have a very small percent of woman who really would like the truth but you cant tell one from the other (lol)
