longer explanation: last time my heart was broken was almost 12 years ago, by a girl i was convinced i would marry. she left the country to go to school, i flew out to visit her 4 months later, which is when she proceeded to tell me it was over. (would have been a lot cheaper for me if she told me over the phone!) anyway, came back home, and went into a depression as most people do when their heart is broken. i didn't talk to many people, i found it hard to go to work, etc. however, i also knew that if i didn't move on with my life, i'd be stuck in this funk for longer than i wanted to be. so i went out again and went after some new experiences. after a while, i started getting over her by sheer enjoyment of life alone. a couple months later, i met who is now my wife. we've been married almost 9 years, and i'm very happy. so, in essence, if the ex-girlfriend didn't break up with me, i'd never be where i am right now.
moral of the story, having your heart broken is not easy, and although at the time it may seem really hopeless, there is always a light at the end of the dark tunnel. and usually things work out for the better.

mine was broken in november 05
my german shepard dog that was 16 years old had to be putsleep i had him since he was 9 weeks old
that broke my heart as i was with him all the time when they gave him the injection i just sat on the floor with him cuddling him
