I really like this girl , but everytime we go out she pays for herself. Yesterday she insisted on paying for the entire breakfast? Is this a sign she only wants to be friends? Or could she possibly want something more involved.

Well I know that I pay for events when I go out with guys sometimes but really I want the guy to refuse and pay anyways-- I know women are weird. This could go either way as far as if she likes you, so you need to find a different angle- do not flat out ask her if she likes you though because she will not tell you. I have found this method to be the best for finding out if she likes you. Tell her that you have a friend you want to hook her up with and watch her reaction, if you cannot get a read on her then suggest that you hook each other up with someone you know so she finds you a girl. I know this sounds very immature but it has worked for me since I was a teen and am now an adult. Oh and if she ever tells you she has a friend that she wants to hook you up with---- yup she likes you

Just ask her. When I was dating I wanted things to be 50/50. She sounds like an independant woman who doesn't believe that men should always pay for everything. Don't ask her if it has anything to do with the way she feels about you though... just ask her on your next date if you could treat and pay for dinner. If she says no or that she would rather pay for her own then just ask her why. You will probably get an answer about her not believing that men have to pay for everything all the time and then you can just talk about it from there. I hope it works out. It is cool that you would ask others for advice on this subject. Most men would just go with it and not let it bother them.

I'm thinking she's just a friend. Either that or she doesn't want to be a burden. Next time let her know its ok ill do pay i want to. And mabye then you'll get a different reaction from her. Its possible that she could want more but i dont think that's likely. You should ask her what kind of guy she goes for and when you get her answer then ask her would you see us being more then friends something along those lines.

When I first starting dating my boyfriend, I was very independent. There are times I still catch myself wanting to pay for things, either all of it or half.
Maybe she is just not used to a real man picking up the check.
The best thing you can do is talk to her and get it all out in the open. That's what my boyfriend did to me.
Now I usually let him pick up the tab but I still leave the tip.
Relationships are 50-50 right?

I use to be the same way just tell the waitress that you want the bill and pay for it before she can say no. It makes you look bad to others if you don't. This is no sign of like or dislike.

This is a girl that doesn't think it's a mans place to pay all the time, this is a good thing.
The fact she's been on more than one date with you should tell you all you need to know

perhaps she's just independant and wants to pay for herself. I think you're reading too into this, it doesn't mean whether she likes you or not. Ask her next time or insist that you pay and don't take no for an answer.
Good luck

It depends on your situation. Maybe she doesn't want you to think she's some golddigging princess that expects a man to treat her to everything.... maybe she isn't interested in you at all and wants to be just friends... maybe she has more moeny that you and doesn't want dating to be a financial hardship for you... only she knows for sure, so you need to ask her. You need to clarify if your relationship is romantic/dating or just friendship, let her know that you really like her, and let her know if you would like to treat her sometimes.
When in doubt, communicate.

It means she thinks you are just a friend....Unless she is much younger then you because the younger women are independent and they may see you as a love mentor and are willing to pay their own and your way......Does she look good in a t shirt?
