to answer your primary question...no. Would it be beneficial?...absolutely. And, in my opinion, quite necessary for the growth in faith and love towards God.

I am a Christian, and whenever I feel a doubt, I go to the Father, and talk to Him about it. He knows we go through our doubts, and questioning.
But, instead of discussing my doubts, fears and questions with others, I go to the Source.
When we are children, we believe without questioning. That is why we need to grow up and come to that time in our lives when we doubt and question. That is the "Age of Accountability". At that age, whether it is 10 years old or much older, when we make a decision to follow Christ, we are "born again."
God understands that we will have doubts and questions. Yes, He wants us to come to Him as a little child, which means believing wholeheartedly, but He understands nonetheless.
He addresses "double mindedness" in the first chapter of James. Double mindedness is doubt and fear. When I begin to feel doubleminded, I turn to Him and say "Father, help me in my unbelief."
Sometimes He will give you someone to help you. But they must be wise counsel, someone mature in the faith, not people here on this board, whom you don't know, and you don't know where their heart is.

there is a place for admitting doubt. and important .. beneficial to realize that not everyone has the same level of faith. yes the measure is the same, but the level is different with each individual.
but its important to keep stretching in faith and not be stopped by doubt.

your question in itself is a contradiction. faith and doubt. the badge of honor as you call it is the pride of many christians that is a huge problem. christians all doubt in one way or another but its their belief that they feel is under attack and most do not like the confusion caused by that doubt. so it is easier for them to deny that those doubts exist.

Religous people may say doubts do not exist. I have thoughts sometimes that are not my own they are intejected in my mind by the enemy of my soul. What I do with those doubts determines my relationship with Christ. I cast down vain imaginations and doubts. Faith however plays an important role. You just know that Jesus is real! Ask him to reveal himself to you. He will!

Faith not based on fact is fantacy.... The Faith of The True Christian is based on the personal knowledge that God is real and that he is able to , and will, keep His Word to His people.... God is The Fact....... but... all Christians are mortal and subject to the same mortal weaknesses as any other mortal... of course we have doubt... I ahve never met a True Christian who did not have questions for and about God... you should sit in on the men's meeting group I attend... we discuss all kinds of questions about the God stuff.... the only thing we do not need to question is the certainty of our Salvation.... that is God's personal promise to each of us... we have God's Word on it... That is our Faith.

Increasing numbers of us view faith as a badge of shame...it deserves to be disrespected by everyone and such unreasonable superstition is an insult to all reasoning, reasonable and logical people.

No its all about the faith maam. And I dont have doubts because the Bible has delivered on what God says in it. People who have doubts dont have a true relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. And that is what its all about. Christian is just a title. Means nothing in todays society so many claim it. Amen and Peace out..............

I don't doubt very often, but every time I do doubt, I find the answer in God's Word. Every belief I hold can be substantiated by the Bible. EVERY ONE. so, no need to doubt.
