The best way to describe them is by saying- They are SORT of like Goths.
The wear skinny jeans, Converse and part of their hair covers their face. Alot of them like to cut themselves.
Bands they would like would be- My chemical Romance, HIM etc...

Its just a slang term that means a type of music or fashion. Emo people also have certain styles of hair and they wear vans shoes. Some emos also cut themselves and wear black. But its not the same as goth.

It's a type of music..(emotional pop/punk..there is also "screamo" which is the same but tends to have some screaming..hence the name) it can also be used as a term for the style that the people that listen to the music generally have(such as hair in your face,boys wearing girls jeans,Converse shoes)If you meant to say EMU..that is an ostrich-like bird.Go here for more details.

Emo is a type of class of males like metro is a type. They like to wear womens jeans and they call an emo cut is another word for what us women call a side bang. I had a guy come in the salon and ask for that and I had to find out quick what that was.LOL. I hope this helps!!!

Someone who listens to emo alternative music. Emo stands for emotional. Most believe in god and they often cut themselves or are very sad. They normally have a thriftstore kind of wierd look going and often alot of makeup or tight clothes.

wear black, listen 2 emo music, have awesome hair, dont talk alot, dont play sports, cut them self, really emotional, dont smile, tight jeans, black rimmed glasses (sometimes), greasy unwashed hair that covers at least 3/5 ths of the face at an angle.
