A)there's no afterlife and death is the end.
B)there is an afterlife(God-heaven-Hell) and you enter Heaven by your beliefs and deeds(good works).

It would be harder for me to live if I believed that there's nothing there when I die. The idea of completely disappearing from existence (can't breathe, can't see, can't think) is a bit scary, it gave me nightmares when I was a kid.

I'd be more scared that there IS an afterlife and I screwed up while I was here. If there is nothing after death, we wont know, will we.

Neither of these beliefs scare me nor do I want to believe them. Even if i did 'want' to believe one or the other, that would not make it so. (If my wanting something made it so I would be 3 inches taller, 20 pounds slimmer, and 10 years younger) What is important is what the truth of the matter is. Scary or not.

B would be worse...because I don't want to go to Heaven and I wouldn't because I'm an EX-Christian now Asatruar.
Which would I like? Well my own beliefs, I want to go to one of the many halls in Asgard and be with my ancestors, loved one, and my Gods and Goddesses.

A. The thought of not existing is to much for me. Sure when I died it wouldn't matter because I wouldn't exist, but that just scares me more then the thought of hell.

I believe in 'A'. Its not scary... simply an end. Lets not drag our souls and spirits for so long to keep things spiced up. Its boring.

Both are wrong.... It is not by works but by Faith that one may come to God.
All who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of salvation and become part of TheBody of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head... Only those of The Church will enter Heaven
