Decide now before it is too late. Do you want to smoke weed and get high or raise your child? Choose one or the other because you can not have it both ways. If you want to ruin your life with drugs fine, but leave your child out of it.

Well, did you test positive because you were smoking?
If you did, then you must learn that there are consequences for your actions. Your child was born with THC in her system, and obviously you must have felt guilt, otherwise you wouldn't have gone to rehab. Or, did you go to rehab simply to prove a point and get your child back? If the latter is true, then my dear, you have alot to learn about raising children.
However, if you feel the test is negative, or produced a false positive, then my suggestion is you find a lawyer specializing in family matters, so they can help you clear your name and get your child back.
I wish you the best of luck, and I hope everything works out for you.

Well, that is a no-brainer, did you see the little tikes tokin' on the news at 3 years old? Weeelll, that is bad, but if you are a tokin' parent, you must stop and that is all there is to it.
????---Did you fail a test "recently" and they took child because of a phone call due to recent use? Or is this a phone call due to past use?
If it is a recent UA test, they have the right to interviene.
As far as getting your child back:
You must stay clean
Prove you can support the child
Take classes they ask you to do and complete.
Someone called in on my a very long time ago, I got an attorney, passes all my tests, and that's all it took.
Stay clean for your child!

This time it will be harder to get them back.. you have showed you can not be trusted with the care of your child. You will need long term rehab and be tested weekly for a long while. You should have known this would happen.. I am sorry.. but it sounds harsh.. but them being in custody with social services at this time may be the best for the child. If you are being influenced by friends.. then you should put some thought into moving away and starting fresh.. do it for the sake of your child. Good luck.

Well, I am a foster parent and all I can say is get off the drugs or voluntarily relinquish your rights. If you don't stop, your child will be taken permanately! I am going through a TPR right now, and can pull my hair out every time they try to make these parents seem responsible and good parents while their child has been in the system more than his natural life and can't understand why his friends DON'T have case workers / casa people and judges in their lives! Get OFF the drugs or just admit you love it more than you love your child! Sorry, if this is harsh, but it's reality in my life!

Sure..no problem...
PUT DOWN THE DAMN BONG AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR CHILD.
Did that help?
Questions like this just make me sick...did it ever occur to you that maybe your child is better off away from you?
Or are you just to loaded to make that connection. Your days for tokin it up are over.
You are a parent...you are supposed to be at the top of your game and physically and mentally available to provide for your child...you can't do that if you just smoked a fatty.
Pot is barely even a drug...you don't need rehab...you just need to sack up and quit that s.h.i.t.
Quit your whining, quit smokin dope and be a parent to your child...or let the child go to a better home where a responsible adult will love and care for her...since apparently you'd rather roll a blunt and get faded.

Your child was taken away for good reason. Grow up, stop taking drugs, and be the parent your child deserves to have.

You have no business being a parent if your on drugs. Get fixed or get on birth control so you dont have anymore and they wont take them...
If you got her back you were lucky, you threw your chance away when you chose to use again. NO ONE made you you CHOSE to. Your child was born high dont you even feel guilty ? You chose drugs over your child.... Like My parents used to say, You made your bed now you have to lay in it.

The only advice i can give is straighten your life out first. Quit messing up this poor innocent baby's life. You thought you were mature enough to to make the baby now be mature enough to raise the baby properly. Quit thinking about yourself. That part of your selfish life is over you need to be dedicated to this poor child.

What is more important to you? Your child, or your pot? Pick only one and let the other go. This may sound cruel, but it's the only way to get through to you. If you pick pot, then your child can go live with a loving family who will take care of him/her. If you pick your child, then let the pot go forever.
