Short or not? (- -,)?

Question

I tried a short hair before but that was 5-6 years ago.
Now I'm getting tired of my usual straight, long black hair(bra line length) ---
I mean I have to trim it every month, hot oil treatment, hair spa, straightening, & so much more.... & It's getting a bit expensive just to maintain it.
I told my beau that I'm planning to cut it short, or maybe try some highlights but he kinda disagree.
Please do give me some nice suggestions.
To cut it short?
or just keep my hair long but try some highlights (hair color)?

Keep it long honey... men prefer it... especially for someone as good looking as yourself

Maybe try mid length - or layers so you still keep the length, but have something to work with on the top and sides. But highlights look awesome!! Especially in naturally dark hair. I prefer the reds and purples against a dark background.

Judging by the profile you should keep it long and try some highlights or some long curls. I actually think the curls would look the best but definitely dont cut it.

Don't be the same old boring stuff, try something new but still make it look nice. Work with what you've got , by what you have said it looks like you can.

settle. cut it somewhere in the middle. try cutting it shoulder length and having it flip out. that would look cute. if you don't like it it will grow back or you could always cut it shorter but you wont know until you try.
