I am sure that the thought crossed his mind more than once -- and not only in Gethsemane!
If he wasn't thinking about it then there is no point to the "let this cup pass" prayer!
The Christian line is that he resisted EVERY type of temptation that people encounter.

He was visualizing His sacrifice to man-kind and preparing to leave this life as He knew it (loved ones, favorite things). He knew He was about to change the world, however, He felt terribly alone...it was all coming to an end, His time on earth was drawing to a closure. The Fathers will be done....He proceeded with prophecy and we will all benefit from Him, and the work and time He spent here on Earth. Believers in Him and God have been given a road map to their purpose on this Earth.
Do you feel left out? If you do it is because you haven't read the Bible. "Read the Book" is a call to all of us from the past present and future.

I think you could look at it that way. I mean, considering the fact that Jesus was human at the time (even if he was the Son of God), he had the same emotions that all of us have. When he prayed that the cup pass him by, he was, in a way, asking not to have to go through with it. Why sacrifice himself if he didn't have to? I'm quite sure he would have preferred to continue living given the chance.

Actually, I'm sure the thought crossed his mind.
And the film, "The Last Temptation of Christ" illustrates how Jesus might have had the thought cross his mind of coming down off the cross and living a normal life with Mary Magdelene.
And Southern Baptists lost their minds.
So, while I know your question was intended to antagonize, I thought I'd answer anyway.

Nope. Jesus went to the cross with Joy. "He was met in his hour of humanity" He willed to do the will of His father. Its a hard thing as a human knowing your about to go through something that is very painfull so you gotta gear up for it. It was personal time between Him and His father about what was up and wow lets do this hard thing. Simple really.

Not at all. However Christ did ask if there was any other way becasue He knew His beatings and crusifixion were going to be horrible and yet He wanted to do His Fathers will. He didnt have to die for us but it was the only way and even though He knew some would hate Him he did it anyway.

I dont believe so. He was, as i would be, not looking forward to what was about to happen to him. What i believe he was trying to illistrate was that he would do Gods will, and not his own, despite his fears. Hence "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will." Matthew 26:39

No. He was looking for another way. But in that prayer he said he would bow down to Gods will.

Why do ask questions about a person you do not believe to exist?

No. He was utterly terrified, but He was willing to sacrifice Himself for YOU.
Be grateful, please.
