The closest hotel is the State Plaza, at 2117 E St. NW. It's 0.32 miles as the crow flies from the Memorial directly down 21st St. The Allen Lee is 0.38 miles from the Memorial.

There aren't too many that close. But, you will be better off going into Arlington Va. and driving in to DC. It is only outside of DC. Be carefull in DC where you rent as it has "many" not so nice places.! I drive a school bus and we take trips there all the time. Stay away from some areas of Georgetown too.

oh gosh tahts downtown DC thats gonna cost you a fortune id suggest getting soemthing outside of teh city
