They get liposuction and they have personal trainers to help them get back in shape really fast. I had my baby on Christmas eve and I'm still 20 lbs heavier than I was when I had my baby. It's a slow process and it usually takes about 9 months to get back to where you were before you got pregnant.

I think it depends on how dedicated you are to getting your figure back. It does take a lot of hard work, but it IS possible to do.
I was really sick for the first 6 months of my first pregnancy, then after that, I walked a lot while I was pregnant, I actually weighed LESS after having him than before I got pregnant.
My second child came not much longer after that; unfortunately, two young ones make it hard to do much besides chase after them; I gained a lot. Once they got slightly older I signed them and myself up for Karate and I used my Bo Flex and after a year I lost 35 lbs. and looked great.
Then my third child came along; once again, I let myself go; and am still working on loosing that weight.
I'm having a hard time with dedicating myself to it though, I've started to keep a 'Health Journal' Each day I write in it about what I did for the day toward making myself healthier.

The best advice I was given is 9 months on - 9 months off! & it worked out to be true! I am slimmer now than I was pre baby (However I have never been a particually small woman!) The other advice was to get use out of all the milk for at least 6 weeks (When it's at it's most fatty) I didn't like breast feeding so I pumped mine off and gave it in a bottle. This really helped with the weight loss!

Well after I stopped eating like I was still pregnant and started working out after my six week check up, it wasn't hard. I eventually got below my pre-pregnancy weight. I was about 22 the time. I also ran three miles 5 days a week and went to the gym for an hour afterwards.

I've almost lost all my baby weight. My son will be four in July. LOL :-)
The stars look great because basically, they can afford personal trainers and nutritionalists, and they have more time to spend focusing on making themselves look good.
If I had nannies, cooks, housekeepers, personal assistants, personal trainers, personal spiritualists, my own Olympic-sized pool, a discreet plastic surgeon, and a life-coach, I could look like these stars after giving birth.

It was hard for me at first when all I wanted to do was nap with the baby....but breastfeeding helps knock down your weight, and with summer coming...take the baby on nice long walks in the warm air, and be an interactive parent. My friend who says taking care of a baby is hard work...just stays home all day. Go to the mall and go walking, take "Baby and Me" swimming classes...it helps baby sleep from all the excitement, and it helps you sleep and loose weight too! Be an active parent...babies love being out and about...oh, and when you're stressed and no time to cook, stock plenty of lean cusines in the fridge, and lots of yogurts, fruits, and things like that to munch on....I started out at 140lbs before I was pregnant, now I am 131 pounds only 10 months after having my daughter...eat healthy if you're breast feeding...you'll loose weight and it will be healthy for baby too!
Good luck...it's not that hard if you're interactive with your baby. Being a good mom makes it easy!

my wife has always got her figure back within 4-6 weeks of having our baby and she has put on 28lbs with each pregnancy. My wife says making sure you dont over eat in pregnancy is a big factor, make sure that you eat plenty fruit and veg. gentle exercise is also advisable in pregnancy to help keep muscles toned, swimming is great. Once baby is born continue to eat 3 healthy meals a day and drink alot of water. Take exercise and aim to lose 2lbs a week. good luck

just remember, the "stars" breast feed, excerise with a trainer, and have cooks to prepare them with low fat diets ect...
The best thing to do is eat healthy and breast feed you lose around 500 calerories a day just for providing your child with food. For myself though, I was unable to breast feed due to complications, and yes it was hard for me to lose the weight. My youngest is 3 now and I'm still not down even close to what I was. It also depends on how much weight you gained durning your pregancy. Just remember, it took a year to gain all the extra pounds and usally takes a year to take it off again.
