Have a mixture of blond and caramel lowlights added and that should improve it without it looking dyed.

I absolutely cannot STAND when people say.. "oh I think red hair is so ugly". GET OVER IT. It's not YOUR hair! Maybe us people with red hair don't like yours. Having red hair is a very unique trait. I have red hair. I've dyed it several times. And the stupidest thing I EVER did was put blonde highlights in it. It turned my whole head blonde. That's been a year ago and the blonde STILL hasn't grown out of my hair.

So I suggest not dyeing it. Maybe get some professional highlights!

No way...ginger is hot and unique. Besides, you will regret it...its alot of maintenance. If anything, get some blond highlights or brown lowlights...they'll break up the colour, but you won't have to work so hard to maintain it.

If you do don't be surprised if it looks stupid. Just one of those hair colours that does'nt like to be changed too much. Being ginger myself I'm not having a go at you.... Ginger hair is one of the oldest human traites genetically and does'nt go away that easily

No, highlights probably. There is a girl I know who is ginger and she has blonde highlights in her hair which really tones down the shades of orange and red. Alternatively, try lowlights but go for very light brown shades.

If you are really unhappy with it then dye it, but not drastically to a colour like black...just see if it could be toned down a bit to brown?

what's wrong with being a redhead? Conan O'Brain, Ewan Macgregar, and Seth Green are all redheads and they don't seem to have a problem with it. All hair colors are fine. It's naturally very rare, and not ugly, so why change it? If someone told you to change it just tell them to go **** themselves, ok.

No no no. unless you want to look like an 80's footballer. it looks so silly. Just make sure you have it cut in a decent style and you will be fine.
