I used to have this too, many of us do at one time or another. But, I found out that prayer opens the door to heaven, and praise keeps the doors to heavenlies open. So, when you walk into worship, dont let yourself get sidetracked into much other stuff. ITs all there, the visiting after church, etc. But, enter into the house of God wth only worship in mind. BEgin to silently pray, then openly pray, Begin praising God, thanksing God, singing to God, dancing for God, and just ask GOd to take you to the deeper place with you and Him, shutting out the world. You can see soon that He will do just that. The more you put yourself into true and pure worship with God, the easier it becomes and so natural. Think of all you have to thank Him for. Praise and thanksgiving. and thank Him for all He is. worthy of praise, awesome father almighty God, all of it, just give Him the praises of your heart. and you will soon see that noone or nothing can distract you in worship, be it at home or in church. God does want proper, true , passionate worship, as it draws us closer to Him, and in that place, He reveals so much to us. answers come that werent there. If you dont pray in the spirit or sing in the spirit, ask God for it. I used to believe that was all silly, and believe me its not. Just start humming a tune of worship, then singing it to God. Even if you are the only one, what I found is, that soon the whole church is singing and praising. Your praise is to God , its not to worry about what others around you think. That is a major distraction of the devil, worrying what others think. Do we care more what others think or what God thinks? I know the answer, and so do you. Once I really leanred this sining in the spirit to God, I cant tell you how worship changed for me. Now, its like all the time, be it in elevators, at the beach, the park, whereever, in the car. oh yes. He loves pure and passionate worship and thanksgiving. He loves it, and He loves it when we go to Him to ask from Him. He says we have not, cuz we ask not. and often we ask and dont believe it will come. Ask, KNOWING it will come, in His time and in His way, and watch what happens. Positively speak out your faith, sing it, dance it, giving it all to God. Its infectopis. and often the whole church will eventually be right behind you. Its for God.... Let it all just go to Him, with no thought to the others. Its a God and YOU thing. amen
Let me know how it goes. ok I am believing your worship beginning today will be incredibly awesome, and you will go to places you have never gone before. Once you pray and sing in the spirit, God will often give us glimpses into the heavenlies and reveal so much to us. Its worth all we have to give Him. oh yes.
God blesses His obedient ppl, and we are called to worship . Obedience leads to blessing and disobedience leads to curse.
Let God today, and let God take you there. amen.
I am full gospl Christian, and this is all in the Bible, just there, even tho much of the world doesnt want to see it. Doesnt fit the fmold of what they were always taught worship is. If we cant be excited and joyful in worship, something is wrong. PPL get all jazzed up at a ballgame, on vacation, all of it. But, oh man, must be sober and reverant in church. Who said sober is reverant? Tradations of men. wrong.....
God doesnt want laodacia in worship either. No lukewarm. Hot or cold on stuff, all of it, including worship. GIve Him all the passion you have, and you will be so blessed.
And, you get the peace that passes all understanding. oh yes.
Let me know how it goes girl.

The Word says come into His Presence with Thanksgiving in your heart and then give Him Praise. So I always bring my thoughts into a place where I start thanking Him for being God, for getting me through the week, for giving me salvation and His Word, and for walking with me every day etc. When I begin to think along these lines, then it is much easier to enter into Praise and Worship. Developing a grateful heart is the beginning of true Worship.

I generally enter worship/prayer expecting to commune in some way with God. Sometimes I come with great joy and passion(Psalm 33:1Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him.) other times with sadness and burdens that need lifted (Psalm 31:9 Be merciful to me, O LORD, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and my body with grief.)
God wants us to come to Him with everything, trusting that He knows what is best for us(1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.)
Worship is so much more than a song. We can worship God through music, prayer, writing, (using any of our gifts and talents) and serving others in a Godly manner. My pastors wife takes a deep breath in and out while focusing on God and calls that a "God moment", in this way she is worshiping God with her very life. Being and doing exactly what God made her to do.
By "giving it all to God"(the hopes, fears, and joys of your life) you are being totally devoted to the Lord. Nothing is more proper or passionate.
~I remember you were going to be moving, are you having trouble adjusting? Regardless you are in my prayers, God Bless.~
