If it worked out ... great.
If it doesnt.... your job may or may not be affected.
Depends on how much you like your job and what u are willing to risk?

I think it would be OK IF this guy agreed to keep your relationship totally between you and him and not your boss. Once that 3rd party gets thrown in, you are in for some misery. It's all about trust. I could date a friend of my bosses, but I don't see him that often because he takes care of the paperwork and I take care of the lab work. I'm married though so I dont have to worry about that. :) Good luck.

Guys and girls talk to their friends about their boyfriend/girlfriend. I wouldn't want my boss knowing intimate details about my life. Though not professional, your boss could also use that against you in the future. It just wouldn't be worth the risk.

I think your personal life is more important. Talk to your boss and ask him if its really OK. If you think you have a great future with this man, keep seeing him.

there's a raffle that he ought to alter, yet no longer with no substantial volume of time, attempt, and a few scientific care. do no longer rush back into something with him. It would not sound like he's seeing a psychiatrist or getting any anger administration training. you at the instant are not in simple terms risking your wellbeing, yet your unquestionably existence...and that of your infants. Loneliness isn't a solid reason to take a extensive step backwards. you could desire to be happy with what you have finished, and save making forward progression. seek for counseling for your self (the look after can component you interior the suitable course), and study to care approximately your self sufficient to maintain you from going back into an abuse difficulty. in case you won't be able to do it for your self, do it to your infants. How do you think of it replaced into for them residing in that ecosystem? Do you fairly choose to return them to that? He can, and could, ask for forgiveness and mean it...yet that would not excuse the failings he's accomplished, and it damned advantageous would not assure that he won't do them back. in actuality, odds are virtually a hundred% possibly that he will repeat his previous habit without scientific care of a few variety. Abusers are in many situations "sorry" after the abuse. yet no longer sorry sufficient to quit abusing. Do you fairly choose to bypass back to that? Do you already know what's going to ensue while he's have been given you based on him back, and springs to a decision you should be "punished" for having the nerve to go away him interior the 1st place? as a results of fact I promise you, which will ensue ultimately. Abusers not often substitute, and while they do this's in simple terms after YEARS of scientific care, no longer weeks or perhaps months. I understand lonely, yet i could take lonely over abuse any day, and that i could never subject my infants to that existence back. Make some acquaintances, connect a club, connect a help team...yet do no longer bypass back to him. a minimum of no longer now. no longer until and until he's long previous by way of extensive scientific care and you could properly be advantageous that he may be relied on. And given what he's accomplished, i do no longer see that occuring. stay solid.

i'd say go for it, if it blows up it might be a little awkward but unless you do something totally unprofessional like have sex with him in the office they can't fire you just because of who you date.
