Im considering buying these pans. A word of advice dont buy Wolfgang Puck cookware I bought a set of stainless steel pans from his Bistro Collection and they turned out to be awful. The food sticks to the pans, and they are somewhat burned already :(
So anyway Im hoping someone has some great reviews over this brand "All- Clad"!!!

Cook's Illustrated is the only magazine/site that I know of that approaches recipes and kitchen equipment scientifically.

i absolutely adore my all-clad stainless steel. I prefer the shiny stainless kind to the other finishes that they have because they are dishwasher safe. Although i do own two non-stick fry pans as well from All-Clad. They are very consistent pieces of cookware. All the chefs here in the napa valley swear by them.
One thing to watch, if you are cooking with gas, is that if you have one of those industrial high BTU stoves, you really have to watch your cooking temperature. If you cook too high, you will burn and wear out the non-stick teflon coating.
the most useful pans I have from all-clad are the 10 & 12 inch fry pans, and the 2 and 4 quart sauce pans. Do not waste your money on things like big stock pots from All-Clad. If you are just boiling water for noodles, or for canning, go to a restuarant supply store and buy one there.

They are the leader of the pack. A far distant second would be Calpalon and Cuisinart. I would have bought All Clad but just couldn't justify spending that much money when I only cook about 4 times a month. So, I cought Calphalon and really have enjoyed that set. But if you are serious about cooking... go with All Clad !!!

I have been looking into getting new pans and keep hearing about how wonderful All-Clad is. I've seen it on sale at costco, maybe you could try there.
