It only happened in people's imagination. Much like the flood, the immaculate conception, virgin birth, and the resurrection.

about 6000 years. If you read the Herbrew text, the word for serpent also means "shiny one." The reason Eve was tempted was because of Satan's beauty -- he was a cherub, a heavenly being that protects the throne of God -- and it says that the serpent was wiser than any other creature, NOT beast. Not to mention, how could Satan, the destroyer, make a serpent speak when it has no vocal cords? When the Bible says "the serpent", it is a metaphor;it is NOT to be taken literally.

Not sure but, they found some corpse somewhere in Africa i think that was older than the Adam and Eve story.
Isn't Adam and Eve story one from the beginning of time.

No one knows exactly WHEN Adam and Eve were tricked by Satan as a snake, but it was a pretty long time ago, believe me.

Regardless of how many thousands of years ago it was...it is amazing testimony to God's hand being able to keep His Word available to everyone, even to this day.
