Well, you're diluting it after all!... and some of those things you smell may be primarily oriented toward smelling strong and not translate to tasting strong.

When I make a fruit tea, I let it steep basically as long as I'm drinking it because that won't make it bitter or anything like with black teas.

I do add sugar, but I may also add a bit of fruit juice if I REALLY want to up the flavor.
I might add the same flavor as what's in the tea itself, but I may just add a shot of whatever I have around in the frig (generally small cartons of juice for my son, or may be orange juice or another bottled type of juice).

Some flavors reallly work together fantastically, but there aren't many that won't "work."

Fruit tea smells and tastes wonderful. Ensure that you infuse the teabag for at least 3 minutes and then add a spoon of sugar or honey and enjoy. Have you tried Strawberry and Mango from Twinnings, it's gorgeous.

I have no idea! But i think its the fact that they are supposed to be better for you that counts. Ive tried fruit teas and when i taste it, it is just like water, but some can relieve stress, etc, so they can come in handy.

Try adding a little honey. It will bring out the natural sweetness/flavour of the fruit.

In the event that it's a fruit it includes seeds, otherwise it's a vegetable. And vegetables are usually grown in the ground while fruits are grown in trees.

you need to steep them for ages, and a little sugar improves flavor, or honey.
