I have a cyst on near my eye on the top bridge of my nose. I have had it removed by a plastic surgeon TWICE and it won't go away. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Do I get a second opinion?

I've had a few facial subcutaneous cysts removed from my face. Two have returned after having been eliminated through (minor/out-patient) surgery. One came back three times! But, although I've had other MD's doing the diagnoses and removal, nothing seems to be perfect. Maybe, like myself, you have a tendency towards producing the cysts. I would check with a dermatologist - there are ways to keep the skin cleaner, reduce the oil content in your skin, etc., -which may help you reduce the frequency of cyst appearance. Good luck!

i had a cyst removed from my throat.its a sebaceous, and the surgeon told me it could come back.but its not a problem.a cyst forms in a sack under your skin, and if the sack is removed ,via a operation its less likely to come back.,
