As life goes on, I've realized of the sinful things I've done and more things that I keep on doing that are sinful. When I pray and say that I'm sorry, things just seem to get worse, so I stopped praying. I don't think I've given up on God completely, but I think he's given up on me a long time ago. What would you do?

Sadly, the notion that God is scary is always out there but the truth is that God is forgiving and full of grace. He loves you more than you can even realize!

Just because things get "worse" doesn't mean your praying isn't working or He is ignoring you or even that things are actually getting worse! God works in mysterious ways and answers prayers in mysterious ways. Most of the best things I have in my life cam from the things that I thought were "bad" at first. God is probably setting you up for greatness! It's hard to see... I know... but that's what FAITH is about. Praying about it and forgetting about it and knowing that God will lead you to what you need.

I'd begin by counting my blessings... you obviously have access to technology, must be breathing, and sound like your mind is keen. I'd start from there and thank Him for those things.

Then I would submit to Him and say whatever YOU think is best God, is good enough for me. I thank you for my troubles because I know you have a purpose for my life. Thank you for your Grace and Mercy and Son!

If you would like to talk more, email me. Be blessed!

Greetings Child of God,

Listen I know where you are , I'v just been redemed again, However, even in my short coming's I was alway's covered. I, wrote these exact words February 19, 2007: While I lived in my sin's I also walked in my solution, the end result being "Victory". For even while I lived in the natural, the Holy Spirit continued to cover me and protect me in order to lead and guide my way out. My experiences, no matter how deadly in the natural was all for God's Glory and so I remained covered in the Spirit. However I never stopped confessing His word back to Him. So get your Bible and give back what he said you are and you shall be that very overcomer. Life and death is in the power of what you speak. It matters not what it looks like the natural is never more powerful than the spirit. Keep praying warrior and trust you will be made free. Believe and have faith in God and you. If he could free me from the hell I lived and the near death experiences I had and did to myself. You shalll live and not die. Believe. Believe, Believe and Only Believe what the word of God say's only!

Eagles catch you before you fall and that is the Ministry I am a part of.

Read: Phillippians 3:13 Brother I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it.But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

And Isaiah 54 reads that there is no weapon formed against you that shall prosper.

Peace & Blessings

1) God is scary but not mean.
2) It is good that you are aware of your sin, as that makes you aware of your need for a Savior, who will deliver you from the penalty of sin, which is death.
3) Have you accepted the Lord Jesus as your Savior? If not, then that explains why these things have happened. If you have, then you need to learn about Him and the power of the Holy Spirit in you. The best way to do that is find a good Bible-believing full-gospel church.

NO! Please don't ever give up especially on God. I'm 27 years old and i grew up in church, but i strayed a little as i became older. Now i'm more focused and mature and beginning to understand the bible and how my religion works for myself. Somedays i want to lay down and give up, but i cry and pray and i feel better afterwards. I"m evening learning to meditate.
What i've learned is you have to go through trials and tribulations to increase your faith in God, recieve and appreciate your blessings, and learn to how to completely trust and depend on Him instead of ourselves and others. Yes we all sin and fall short, but we repent and strive to do and be better everyday with the help and guidance of God.
I've also learned not to put myself in certain situations that would cause me to be displeasing in the sight of God. Also you may have to seperate yourself from old friends to become the person that God wants you to be. No matter what we always need God, rich or poor, healthy or ill in some way God makes it where we all need him. You also have to study your bible for yourself and ask God to open up your wisdom, knowledge and understanding to you about his word, how he wants you to live and where he want you to go. If you read your bible you will also see everyone in the bible went through something. Know that the devil has a job to do and that's to make you give up and lose your faith.
God never changes even when we do. Don't get discouraged find ways to motivate yourself through his word and fasting. Surround yourself with friends of the same faith so that you can pray together and be an encouragement for one another and it won't hurt to have an older person to talk to whose wise and been around that can give you advice in a more spiritual and realistic way. It's going to be a long road but remember the trial is temporaray but the blessing is permenat!!! I pray that you find what you are looking for in GOd and he keep you forever...

Maybe you are only fooling yourself. But give thanks you fear God because you commited sin instead of feeling good while doing wrong things. This is a common abuse. They fixed their mind that God is Love and is always waiting for us to return, but they forget that Life is short. It's not too late to renew. Repent and ask salvation not only from eternal death, but also from Sin. You cannot save yourself, from eternal death and from sin. If you are really experiencing what you have said, then be true to yourself and Godknows what is in your HEart and what is your real intention.

If you really ask for forgiveness, promise God and yourself you will never do it again. Pray to Him and ask him for the ability to do good things instead of wrong one. And try doing it now. Ask him to bring His people to send you His message. God uses His people for other people.

God is not as mean as as some people would want you to believe. Read Romans chapters 7 & 8 sometimes. Everyone struggles with weakness; this is not intended to be an excuse for deliberate premeditated sin, but God understands that you struggle.

------------------------------...
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
~Hebrews 4:14-16

8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.

9 He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;

10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.

11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;

12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;

14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.

~Psalm 103

1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD;
2 O Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy.

3 If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins,
O Lord, who could stand?

4 But with you there is forgiveness;
therefore you are feared.

5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
and in his word I put my hope.

6 My soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.

7 O Israel, put your hope in the LORD,
for with the LORD is unfailing love
and with him is full redemption.

8 He himself will redeem Israel
from all their sins.

~Psalm 130

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Don't stop praying, just start listening more and reading about his everlasting mercy.

As you grow closer in communnion with the Lord your sins will not only be washed and forgiven but you will detest those actions that separate you from his grace.

Take it one day at time and don't forget to pray. He is listening.

Don't give up on God based on your experience in one church; some churches are different and you can get a real experience that will take away your fear. I had an experience similar to that, and when I received the Holy Spirit, the fear left.

The enemy wants you to think God's given up on you, I guarantee you he is still waiting for you with open arms. Trust his word, your thoughts are not always reliable. Do you have a bible and church? If not, the best thing to do would be to find one (of each). God bless....
