No, but guys do need "cave" time. That is, guys tend to get re-energized by going to their "cave". Every guy has a different "cave". For some it's hanging out with their "buddies". For others it's just being away from their significant others for a few hours once or twice a week doing something on their own. I know it must sound silly but it is a very important thing to guys to do this. It is probably an evolutionary 'need' based on solitary or group activities done outside the "familiar" unit.

Yes. Both men and women should have time with their friends away from their significant others. Nothing is wrong with playing sports or going out with the guys. The only time "guy time" isn't good is if they are doing something that hurts you, like getting drunk and hooking up with other women. If you trust him and are secure in your relationship, then "guy time" is perfectly normal and healthy.

Everyone needs time to let loose and have fun. Whether it's guy time or just hanging out with their friends doing whatever. I believe we all need to get away and have a good time.

think of it like this - do you have a favorite food? of course you do, but you don't want to eat it ALL THE TIME!!!
Guys need to get away and be able to fart, scratch their (you know) and drink beer.
Girls always want guys to cuddle and watch chick flicks be romantic and look at girly crap when they go out, but they never want to go in the garage and help with a project involving power tools or watch man tv or drink beer and eat nachos when it's game time.
If you smother a man, he'll end up leaving just to get the air that he needs. If you give him his time away, then he'll get that air that he needs and then gladly come back home and deal with your girly girly stuff

can i get a HELL YEAH! everyone needs some "me" time. with guys, we need some time to be alone on our own, or with the guys being a guy. otherwise you get the "i need my space" speech which can lead to the "maybe we need some time apart" speech.

If it weren't for the 5 minutes of fury - men wouldn't put up with women.
