its a medion scanner and computer, it's plugged in and it says unknow device. Please help i need to finish this dt work today.

when i last used this scanner i think it was on a different computer that i dont have anymore i found the scanner in the loft n it won't work

an install disc with drivers should make it work. you should be able to find it on driverforum.com

Try reinstalling the driver cd that came with the scanner....

install the driver or the software, you should of got a cd for it, and if not then get the model number of the scanner, and go on google and search for that scanner driver, if you have a cd, install the driver, software then try it...

remove the device, reboot, let windows find it and install it, the drivers should still be in there, assuming they WERE installed.
if you have the original installation cd then use that when windows finds the device.
control panel-system-hardware-device manager to remove it simply find it, right click and click remove.
then reboot.

'Start', 'control panel', 'system', 'device manager' then 'hardware' tab.
You should see an exlamation mark next to unknown device. Right click on it and 'update driver'
Allow Windows to connect to internet.
If this fails, do you have an install disc?

if you havent installed the cd it came with, that could be it...or if you have it may need to be re-installed. or just try the good old restart your computer-i do that all the time w/my printer & it works.

when this happens you need to reinstall the cd it cames with and it should work perfectly after that
